Saniya GayThe Nations First National Juneteenth Queen™The nation's first National Miss Juneteenth Queen™ was Saniya Gay. She was crowned in 2020 during the inaugural National Miss Juneteenth Pageant held in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a student at Middletown High School at the time, and won against finalists from Las Vegas and Tampa Bay. Her platform focused on fighting domestic abuse. She was awarded $2,500 in scholarship money. In addition to her pageant win, Saniya has been recognized as a dynamic leader and communicator, with strong interpersonal skills and a dedication to teamwork.
